Deciding which paper size is right for your project can be a difficult task, with so many different page sizes available, which is right for your printed product?
Our guide to paper sizes for printing will give you a low down on the measurements and the paper sizes that are suitable for your printed projects.
A Quick Guide to ‘A’ Sizes:
A0 (1189 x 841 mm) – A0 is twice the size of A1. Its large size makes it useful for signage, and posters.
A1 (594 x 841 mm) – Like A0, A1 is typically used for maps, posters, wall planners, and other large format print marketing materials.
A2 (420 x 594 mm) – A2 is used for a wide variety of different print projects. From posters, charts and plans, to window vinyl graphics and signage.
A3 (297 x 420 mm) – Along with A4, A3 is undoubtedly one of the most common page sizes for print. A3 has many applications, but it is most commonly used for large menus, posters, wall planners, and branded desk pads.
A4 (297 x 210mm) - A4 is one of the most common page sizes for printed products, as it’s useful for a wide variety of projects. From notebooks, posters, magazines and letterheads to brochures, NCR pads and flyers, A4 is a classic paper size.
A5 (148 x 210mm) – A5 is the perfect size for your smaller print projects. It is commonly used for flyers, postcards, booklets, brochures, branded notebooks, paperback books and NCR pads.
A6 (148 x 105mm) – The size of an A6 printed sheet is perfect for printing vouchers, stickers, flyers, booklets, greetings cards and postcards.
A7 (74 x 105mm) – Although less common, A7 is the perfect size for your smaller print projects. The size of an A7 print is perfect for tickets, scratch cards, and stickers.
1/3 A4 (210 x 99 mm) – 210 x 99 mm is exactly one-third of A4. It’s the standard size for many printed products including compliment slips, folded leaflets, flyers, and vouchers.
Business Cards (85 x 55mm) – 85 x 55mm is the universal, standard size for business cards. However, this size is also perfect for printing loyalty cards, vouchers and appointment cards.
